Cost Factors for Clear Braces
As no two patients are the same, treatment will vary depending on the severity of the case. To determine the overall cost of treatment, we will take into account:
- Number of teeth to be corrected: Some patients have minor dental misalignment and thus require only slight orthodontic corrections. Other patients have more severe malocclusion and need a more extensive treatment plan. Typically, patients with more significant forms of misalignment can expect to pay more for treatment.
- Length of treatment: Often, the more correction you need, the longer your treatment will take, and the more materials needed. The duration of your treatment plan can influence the overall cost.
- Additional procedures: Sometimes, we recommend a combination of cosmetic treatments to achieve desired results. Depending upon your needs, we can place veneers, contour your gums, or whiten your teeth for a comprehensive transformation. In addition, if you have underlying conditions such as gum disease or tooth decay, we must perform the appropriate restorative procedure before we can resume your orthodontic treatment. Additional treatments will add to the overall cost.
We can review your unique dental needs, personal preferences, and budget when designing your custom treatment plan.
At Port Clinton Dental Care, clear braces start at $4,600. However, to make treatment more accessible, we accept financing through CareCredit®.
An Investment in Your Future
At Port Clinton Dental Care, we understand cost can be a significant consideration when undergoing any treatment. However, clear braces are a true investment in your oral health, appearance, and confidence. Dental misalignment can make it difficult to properly clean and care for your smile. As a result, patients can develop tooth decay or gum disease. Misalignment can also result in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, causing chronic pain and discomfort. Proactive treatment can save you from more extensive restorative care in the future and preserve the longevity of your smile.
Financing Options
The ClearCorrect system provides an aesthetically-pleasing alternative to traditional braces. While many patients favor the more natural appearance of clear braces, they are often concerned ClearCorrect will be too expensive. In reality, the cost of clear braces is comparable to traditional metal braces and can be a more cost-effective solution in some cases.
Clear braces are typically not covered by insurance. However, we encourage you to consult with your insurance provider to determine if your plan offers some coverage. At our practice, we offer in-house financing options through CareCredit. Our team will do everything they can to make sure your treatment is affordable, efficient, and convenient.
